Big Brothers Big Sisters of Nevada, founded in 1973, matches children with adult and older teen role models to help children reach their potential through professionally supported one-to-one relationships. The program is affiliated with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and is one of more than 500 agencies that have mentored children for over 100 years.
The Animal Foundation, Lied Animal Shelter is a private, non-profit, multi-service agency dedicated to making a difference in the lives of animals in the Las Vegas Valley. To promote the humane treatment of animals, The Animal Foundation operates the Valley’s largest open admission shelter (Lied Animal Shelter), lost and found services, foster home and adoption services, an affordable vaccination clinic, and community education.
American Red Cross - The Southern Nevada Chapter has been helping people since 1912. Our services include: Community Health and Safety Training, Health and Safety Training for the Workplace, Disaster Response, Armed Forces Emergency Services, International Services, Lifeguarding and Swim Lessons and Youth Services.
Shade Tree - Since 1990 The Shade Tree has served homeless and abused women and children, victims of domestic violence, victims of elder abuse, victims of street violence, female veterans, homeless youth and the physically disabled. Using programs offered by The Shade Tree, women can rebuild their lives. They can find employment, secure permanent housing and become productive member of the community.
Miracle Flights for Kids is the nation's leading nonprofit medical flight organization. Since 1985, we have continued to deliver on our mission to help families overcome financial obstacles in order to get access to the proper medical care and treatment for their seriously ill children.
Positively Kids - Our vision is to create the premier pediatric skilled nursing facility in the State of Nevada, providing 24-hour nursing care and therapies to medically fragile and terminally ill children while also offering support and training to the families of the children we serve.
